Worship at MCC Newcastle.
Sunday Worship.
MCC Newcastle meets every Sunday evening for worship at 6.30pm at St. James's URC, Newcastle-upon-Tyne (click here for directions). We sing, pray, have readings from the Bible, share an open Communion and enjoy a time of fellowship over coffee or tea after the service. Between 70-80 people worship with us each month, about 40 each week.
Diversity.
People come to MCC Newcastle from many different faith backgrounds.
Some people are still involved in another church or faith community, some have not been in a church for a long time. For a few, we are the first church that they have attended regularly.
Because of this diversity, we try and offer a worship experience that blends many different traditions. You may recognise some aspects of the service or the hymns we sing. Other parts may be completely new to you. Join in as you feel comfortable.
We try to be as inclusive as possible in all of our worship services. Large print service sheets are available. See Being an Inclusive Church for more information.

Midweek Worship
MCCN holds a midweek service once a month, usually on a Wednesday evening. The format of these services vary, for example we have had a Body and Soul Service with a chance for individual prayer, and a meditative service with prayer stations.
These services are a chance to meet with God in the midst of a busy week and experience worship in a different way to our Sunday services. To find out what is happening this month see the calendar.
All are welcome to come along.
