Worship at MCC Newcastle
Sunday Worship
At MCC Newcastle we believe that worship is a two-way communication between people and God, expressed in different ways. It should be inclusive and bring people together.
MCC Newcastle meets every Sunday evening for worship at 6.30pm at St. James's URC

We sing a variety of different hymns and worship songs, pray, have readings from the Bible, share an open Communion and enjoy a time of fellowship over coffee or tea after the service.

DiversityPeople come to MCC Newcastle from many different faith backgrounds.
Some people are still involved in another church or faith community, some have not been in a church for a long time. For a few, we are the first church that they have attended regularly. Because of this diversity, we try and offer a worship experience that blends many different traditions. You may recognise some aspects of the service or the hymns we sing. Other parts may be completely new to you. Join in as you feel comfortable. We try to be as inclusive as possible in all of our worship services. Large print service sheets are available. |
