MCC Newcastle wants to change the world! We do this in a variety of different ways:

                                            Remembrance and Awareness-making

As well as celebrating Christian holidays such as Christmas and Easter, MCC Newcastle marks International Day against Homophobia (IDAHO), Holocaust Memorial Day (HDO), World Aids Day and participates in Pride marches in the North East.

                                            Fundraising and Supporting Other Organisations

Organisations we have supported financially through collections in the past are:

                                            The People's Kitchen

                                            Parents Enquiry North East (PENE)

                                            The West End Refugee Service

Each Christmas we collect toys and other items for Operation Christmas Child. A team of volunteers also goes to the OCC warehouse in Byker to help pack and distribute shoeboxes.

                                            Practical Help

We offer help to individuals in our own congregation who are suffering hardship, and those who are seeking asylum in this country.
