The Social Team is led by Abby Brown a cheeky fun loving extreme sports enthusiast and George Gardner who is an easy going guy and has a brilliant sense of humour. The Social Team provides social activities for the congregation of MCC Newcastle and the wider community. We hope to provide a fun safe space, a place of friendship and care, a welcoming and accepting atmosphere, time to relax, chat, a chance to get to know one another better and socialise with friends new and old.

The social team will ensure it organises an array of activities for you, runs and lead events, provides a place outside of church for you to bring friends and new members, assists with social/outreach events, collates your ideas for social events, be a contact for all social activities and publicise events so you know when and where activities are on. Some of the socials some of you may have already experienced include, My Night With Reg, a Eurovision Party, Cass and Chips, Saturday On The Scene and a Chinese Buffet Night.
There is something for everyone, don’t be nervous if you have never been to one of our socials before we are a friendly bunch. We look forward to seeing you at the next social. God is great and so are our socials so make sure you check out both our social activities and church services as it would be a shame for you to miss out.
