Prayer Page

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. To him be glory in the Church and Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. " Ephesians 3: 20-21.

These verses tell us sometimes what God can do and that God's love for us is beyond our understanding. We can't even imagine it, it is comprehensible. This verse tells us we need to have faith and ask God. It reminds us as a church and personally that God is able to do all things and that God is all powerful. God's power and help is with us always and God is at work within us.

What we pray for should be for God or centred in what God wants! We shouldn't go it alone, it's a partnership both personally and as a church. A partnership involves communication, working as a team and listening to each other and not just doing our own thing!

Ultimately we should believe God can do more than we think or imagine and our prayers should reflect it.

Light a candle:

This candle is a symbol of light overcoming darkness. I light it as part of the community of MCC as we pray together; scattered and gathered.

Pray for: Me, my friends, family & people I know, I name us now...

Pray for today: For God's Spirit in our lives

Pray thanks for:

Pray for: Situations that I am worried about, I name them now...

Pray for tomorrow & beyond:

Pray for Church and Church Family:

Pray for healing:

Within & among people: I remember...

Close with the grace:

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all evermore.Amen.
