North East VCS Equalities Coalition We are represented on this coalition both as a faith group and as an LGBT group by John. Work has just commenced on this project and we look forward to bringing you more information about coalition as conferences and workshops take place.

Middlesbrough Council Of Faiths MCC Newcastle is one of 9 Christian representatives elected to a Council of 31 people.John was unanimously elected to the Executive Committee.

Regional LGBT Domestic Abuse information exchange MCC Newcastle are represented on this regional group. We have undertaken training with a variety of agencies and have been involved in an audit of services for LGBT Domestic Abuse services in the North East of England.

Newcastle LGB Issues Network, Cecilia represents MCC Newcastle on this monthly meeting of workers in the community, this includes the police, the city council, Age Concern and a variety of other agencies.

Durham Diocese Social Action Task Group John represents MCC Newcastle on this group whose focus is Inter-Faith work.
